We have included here some links to sites that we feel represent this 'industry' and other resources that
might like to look at to better your education, improve your knowledge and otherwise enjoy.
Turkotek. A news and discussion forum which focuses mainly on Turkoman and
Turkemen & Caucasian rugs.
RugLore. This is a fascinating site which focuses primarily on Nomad and
Peasant rugs. It is very educational and provocative with a philosophical bent, a dash of humor, the benefit of a
lot of experience. The aim is to propagate the concept of Oriental Rugs as works of art. There will be
advice for the new collector, rug comparisons, ideas on how to shop and links to other resources.
The World Wide Weave. This is a world-wide listing
of Oriental Rug and Textile societies and other resources.
House Plans at Home Plan. This is a site
for home planning and design.
